Justice for MMIWP Families

Fiscal Sponsor: Unkitawa

EIN#: 83-2398323

This was one of the first groups we partnered with. Roxanne White is the founder and director of Justice for MMIWP Families. She is a survivor and a family member of MMIP. She works tirelessly on the ground to raise awareness and help the families.  She does searches with the families and makes sure they are supported.  It’s a true honor to have worked closely with her these last few years. She is a mentor and sister to me.

Medicine Wheel Ride

Location: Phoenix AZ

EIN#: 85-1600219

This is another group close to my heart.  They have been a great support for the Grove.  They work hard to get the word out.  This sums them up perfectly and is taken directly from their page:

We are a grassroots movement. We ride to bring national awareness and resources to issues impacting our indigenous relatives. We are not experts, and we are not waiting until experts arrive. We're just women on motorcycles who care about something that affects us. We are getting together, and we're figuring it out as we go along

4Corners k-9 Search and Rescue

Location: Farmington, NM

EIN#: 88-1020335

This group has fast become one of our most supported groups. They are the boots on the ground on Tribal lands.  They work to locate our missing relatives,  provide information and support to the families and are just amazing humans.  They exist on donations to do their work.  We will always have a special place in our hearts for the work they do.

Their Mission: To locate, rescue, and recover lost and missing persons on Native American Tribal lands. By serving victims and families with empathy, compassion, and respect we provide immediate hope, relief, and support during the agonizing trauma of having a missing loved one.

Missing Murdered Ingenous Women, and Girls in NC

Location: Mebane, NC

EIN#: 85-0766959

This is a small but mighty group here on the East Coast based in NC.  As NC is heavily represented in the Grove, it was a logical step to reach out. There are many family members and advocates in this group. They work hard to bring comfort to the families while making sure the information is getting out there. I have so much respect for the hard work they do.
